You can remove mold stains with soap and water but the mold will grow back. To kill the mold or mildew you can use a product such as Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover on a regular basis. By cleaning regularly and using bleach-based products, you can keep mold and mildew at bay in your home. In order to eliminate the mold and mildew completely you need to remove the moisture and humidity. For instance in the bathroom, when you take a shower open a window or turn on a vent and let it run for several minutes after to remove the humidity from the room then squeegee the shower to remove moisture.
